Prayers are requested for:
- Evelyn Adkins, who has returned home from the hospital, recovering from stent surgery
- Andy & Jennifer Street, who responded Sunday morning and requested prayer
- Roger Michael, who has moved to NHC room # 118 A
- Gary Yates, (son of Melvin & Marie Yates) who will undergo surgery at Centennial on October 1
- Barbara Frazier, (mother of Meagan Grosvenor) who is recovering at home
- Jana Measells, (daughter of Myra Measells) who has been very ill since January
- Harris McCandless, (grandfather of Jennifer Street) who will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a hernia.
- McKenzie Mayberry, (15-year-old niece of James Hagewood) who is in a Knoxville hospital
Other Announcements:
Volunteers are needed Thursday at 6 PM to assist in setting up tables and chairs for Sunday’s 5th Sunday fellowship meal.
We have a member in need of a small refrigerator. If you can help please call the church office at 615-446-2909.
All ladies are invited to the next DOTS outing to Loredo’s Taco Shop on Thursday, September 27 (6 PM). A sign-up sheet is located in the Gathering Room.
There will be a Security Ministry Organizational Meeting on Sunday, September 30 immediately following the mid-day worship service. This meeting is for those who are already part of this ministry AND anyone who is interested in participating.
The Men’s and Women’s Mission Houses need some basic repairs. If you have some experience with construction, we can use your help on Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Gathering Room beginning Sunday, September 30 detailing specific areas of need. For more information please see Sherman Cline.
