We extend our sympathy to Ruby Reynolds and family in the loss of her brother-n-law, Ted Gorzny, who passed away Thursday. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 1 from 3-8 PM and Sunday from 12-3 PM until the time of the funeral services at 3 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.
We extend our sympathy to Darby Cardona and family in the loss of her brother, Roy McCaslin, who passed away Saturday. A graveside funeral service was held at Bon Aqua Church of Christ Cemetery on Wednesday. He was the uncle to Chris Cardona.
We extend our sympathy to Dan Brown and family in the loss of his mother, Rosemary Brown. A memorial service was held on Wednesday here at Walnut Street.
Congratulations to Annabelle Fizer who was baptized Monday evening. Annabelle is the daughter of Anthony & Amy Fizer.

Reminder that this Sunday will start our safety protocols. The Fellowship Hall door at the ramp on Chestnut will be unlocked at 7:30 am (for George Caudill’s 8 am Bible class). The two main doors on the east and west back Auditorium will open at 8:15 am. None of the other doors will be unlocked. This same protocol will be in place on Sunday evening and Wednesday evening too. All doors will be locked 15 minutes after each service begins. Security team members will be available to admit late arrivals at the Auditorium entrances.

Men, mark your calendars for the upcoming Men’s Fall Retreat, September 14-15. This year’s speaker will be John Pippin from Baxter Church of Christ. The cost is $29 per person which includes lodging (attendees bring bedding) for the evening and 3 meals. The location is Camp Ridgedale at 1470 Bear Creek Rd., Vanleer, TN. All 3rd-5th graders are invited to a CIA movie day on September 9 from 1-3:15 PM in the Youth Loft.
Make plans to attend our September Food for Thought luncheon, Tuesday, September 11 at noon; this will be a special appreciation lunch for all Dickson County first responders (RSVP must be received by Thursday, September 6)
