It’s college time again! Secret Pals are needed for the 2018-2019 school year for Walnut Street students in college. You can be a pal to a student of your choice OR you and a friend can be a pal for a student. (It is sometimes easier if you have a pal partner.) The American Red Cross Blood Drive will be in the Fellowship Hall today from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. There is an emergency blood shortage at this time.
Volunteers are needed for a work day this Saturday, August 11 (8 AM) at Leatherwood Bible Camp. This work day is to prepare for the upcoming construction of the new dining hall.
Make plans to attend our August Food for Thought luncheon, Tuesday, August 14 at noon; speaker is Bryan McAlister and menu is lasagna, salad, bread and dessert. Deadline to sign up is Friday, August 10.
