Congratulations to Jack Woods, (Jack is part of the Walnut Street Youth Group) who was baptized Sunday evening.

- Suzanne Hinton, who is recovering from surgery for a broken hip
- David Pippin, who is recovering from successful cancer surgery and awaiting biopsy results at the VA Hospital in Nashville (room #G225); he will remain in the hospital for 4 or 5 days
- Sean Moore, who is in the VA Hospital in Memphis undergoing tests to prepare for surgery
- Rick Gray, (husband of Betty Ruth Gray, father of Ashley Fussell and B.J. Gray) who will begin a round of chemotherapy tomorrow
- Janice Curd, who has returned home from the hospital, no visitors at this time please
- Cristie Clemons, (sister of Michelle LeCompte) who is having back issues

One Heart is a Walnut Street small group opportunity grounded in the example of the early church. This is an opportunity to gather with 2 or 3 families you know well and invite someone new. Our first meeting is March 11 following our evening service.
Join us for Food for Thought on Tuesday, March 13 at noon. This month’s menu is meatloaf, mashed potatoes, beans and dessert. Deadline to sign up is Friday, March 9.
This month’s Wednesday Express Meal will be held March 14 at 6 PM. The menu is fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans.
All ladies are invited to a come-and-go bridal shower, honoring Deondra Bender, bride-elect of Archie Marowa, Saturday, March17 from 10:30 AM-12 PM in the Gathering Room. Deondra is registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
All men are invited to attend Walnut Street’s annual Men’s Breakfast, Saturday, March 10 at 8 AM. Sign up in the Gathering Room. Also, mark your calendars for the upcoming Men’s Devotional on Monday, March 19 at 6:30 PM.

Seniors, mark your calendar for this Senior Fellowship Activity: A Dinner and Hobby/Talent Sharing Fellowship on Monday, March 19 at 6 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Do you have a talent or hobby that you’d like to share? Basket making, quilting, wood carving, playing an instrument, etc? We’d love to see it! The menu is soup, salad, sandwiches and dessert. Sign up in the Gathering Room to participate and/or attend.
Walnut Street’s Homebuilders Ministry is hosting a community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 25. They are asking for volunteers to provide 4-dozen plastic eggs, filled with wrapped candy. (taped shut, no chocolate please) A bin will be available for you to place your donations located in the Gathering Room.
