The Homebuilders Group will host a Valentine making event at NHC on Sunday, February 11 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. Meet in the lobby of NHC. Crafts and refreshments will be provided.
Reminder that Walnut Street’s Ladies’ Retreat will be held February 2-3 at Camp Lake Benson. There are no more rooms available for overnight guests, but if you would like to Friday night or Saturday morning please see Lori Whitaker or Stephanie Gooch tonight.
All ladies are invited to a come-and-go bridal shower honoring Sarah Wortman,
bride-elect of Carter Turbeville, on Sunday, February 4 from 1-2:30 PM. Sarah is registered at Target, Pottery Barn and Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
The Senior Ministry will enjoy an outing to the Front Porch Restaurant for an Italian buffet on Monday, February 12. Cost is $12 and space is limited to the first 65 who sign up and pay. See Kim Long or Ray Barger.
A Food for Thought luncheon will be held on Tuesday, February 13. The menu will be baked chicken, rice, mixed veggies and dessert. RSVP to the church office by Friday, February 9 and speaking this month will be Mark O’Neal, General Manager of the Greater Dickson Gas Authority and member of Walnut Street.
Everyone is invited to our monthly Wednesday Express Meal on February 14. The menu will be breakfast. Cost per person is $ 5.00.
All ladies are invited to a bread-making class at the home of Cissy Williams on Saturday, February 17 beginning at 9 AM. A sign-up sheet with additional details is available in the Gathering Room.
Mark your calendars for Walnut Street’s Indoor Picnic on Sunday, February 18. Please make a note of the date change.
All men are invited to the Men’s Chili and Wild Game Supper & Devotional on Monday, February 19 at 6 PM. Bring your favorite chili, wild game, dessert or sides. Come enjoy an evening of good eating and fellowship. Devotional speaker will be Dan Nelson.
Just a reminder that pictures for Walnut Street’s New Pictorial Directory are underway. Pictures will be taken in the church Library. Enter through the Church Office/Child Care doors.
