We extend our sympathy to Cindy Hogue, Kathryn Cullum and family in the loss of their sister, Faye Hamilton, who passed away. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday.
We extend our sympathy to Jeff Poole and family in the loss of his uncle, Ronnie Rayburn, who passed away Thursday. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of the funeral at 2 PM at Dickson Funeral Home.
We extend our sympathy to Sandra Whittinghill and family in the loss of her niece, Donna Owens, who passed away. Funeral services will be held today at 12 PM at Dickson Funeral Home.
Prayers have been requested for:
- David & Marilyn Sensing, who lost everything in the flood; Marilyn and baby Olivia Kay remains in the hospital at this time
- Starla Miller, (friend of Pamela Massie) who’s brother, Joe Reeves, lost his life in the Waverly flood
- Bud Lambert, who continues to have health issues; His address is 37045 Nashville Highway, Alexandria, TN 37012 if you wish to send a card
- Rick Gray (father of Ashley Fussell) who has returned home from the hospital; will continue with dialysis
Other Announcements:
Volunteers are needed TODAY at Walnut St. beginning at 2:45 PM. We will be unloading supplies arriving at 3 PM from Churches of Christ Disaster Relief. 12 able bodied volunteers are sought for unloading and sorting supplies. Please call the church office TODAY if you are available to help.
Relief supplies for flooding victims will be available at Walnut St. Church of Christ beginning Tuesday from 9 AM until 3 PM. Supplies include water, food boxes, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene supplies, and other non perishable items.
A special contribution will be collected next Sunday, August 29. All funds will be used to aid victims of the recent flooding.
There will be a clothing give away today from 6-7 PM at White Bluff Church of Christ if you know of anyone in need.
Churches of Christ Disaster Relief needs volunteers to pack boxes in Nashville on Wednesday, August 25 at 10 AM.
August items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are aluminum foil/trash bags of different sizes and Ziploc bags. These items will be provided to each of our mission house residents when they move in. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
